Persimmon Healing - Weekend Treatments

Myofascial Release techniques involve significantly less pressure than employed for massage, and require dry skin-to-skin contact with no oils or lotions. Techniques are typically slow and gentle.
Myofascial Release accesses and facilitates the release of deep, long-held holding patterns both physical and emotional, and thus can produce more long-lasting results than massage.

Myofascial Release

Medical Massage is the application of a variety of techniques to address what are often complex histories of pain and injury. 
Conditions commonly treated include: carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica, low back pain, rehabilitation pre- and post-surgery, scoliosis, post-natal recovery, mastectomy, knee pain, jaw pain, tendonitis, etc.

Medical Massage

One hour of MFR followed by one hour of Massage. For those who want to receive the long-term benefit that myofascial release offers AND enjoy the deeply satisfying experience of a full body massage. No need to choose one over the other; now you can experience both in a meaningful way. 2 Hour Treatment.

Enjoy a rare opportunity for a weekend treatment! In addition to my already full weekday schedule I'll occasionally be offering a small number of Myofascial Release/Medical Massage treatments on the weekend. We'll discuss which modality approach you would like and which may best meet your needs during the appointment intake.

Start your day with a gentle, deeply nourishing practice. Release fascial restrictions in your body to reset your body's default tension levels to a more spacious, easeful setting for the rest of the day. 
Small group classes, open to all levels. 

Osteoporosis-Friendly classes EVERY Monday. Those without Osteoporosis are welcome too.
Must be able to get down and up off the ground safely and unassisted.

Yin Yoga

A gentle yet effective yin yoga class for those experiencing sluggish digestion, abdominal tension, or who are simply looking for a digestive reset. Support your gut to be at ease and release what you no longer need to carry.

Friday Flush

Enjoy a gentle, deeply nourishing practice that not only supports you but also supports our community. All proceeds from this class will be donated to a local charity. 

Small group classes, open to all levels. 
Must be able to get down and up off the ground unassisted.

Good Cause Friday - Yin

Come enjoy a guided meditation practice to gently support mental stability and clarity, and cultivate positive mental states such as compassion and lovingkindness. 
You may participate seated on cushions, a chair, or laying down.
Appropriate for all experience levels.

Please arrive a few minutes early to get settled before class. We will begin precisely at 9am.

Guided Meditation

Come join us in a powerful Buddhist purification practice to cleanse and clear heavy energy from the week! Purify negative karma with the help of Vajrasattva, the Buddha of purification.

This analytical meditation will invite you to release anxiety over your regrettable actions of the past and help you affirm your positive aspirations for the future. The practice includes guided contemplation, visualization and optional mantra recitation as an extremely effective way of developing a more relaxed, peaceful, and happier approach to life.

All are welcome, Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike! May be best suited for those with some experience with Tibetan Buddhism.

Vajrasattva Purification Meditation

Enjoy a focused workshop to treat fascial restrictions in your neck, chest, shoulders, arms, and thoracic, releasing long held tension in these common areas of pain and disfunction. Empower yourself by learning how to treat these areas at home.
Open to all levels.
Must be able to get down to and up off from the floor unassisted.

Upper Body Yin Yoga

Enjoy a focused workshop to treat fascial restrictions in your lower back, hips and legs to restore freedom and balance to these stiff areas.
